Piedmont Park in Atlanta is the perfect backdrop for an intimate Atlanta Elopement ceremony! The couple wanted a simple ceremony in Atlanta for their elopement. I planned their Atlanta elopement and photographed their day as their wedding photographer! Elopements personalized to the couples story is what makes an amazing elopement day!
We started their elopement day at their house. Genevieve had her makeup done by Rachel Rozankski. The couple had their dog as their dog of honor (how adorable)! The beauty of an elopement is that you are able to incorporate your fur babies into your day easily! Genevieve and Jake had their first look right outside of their house in Atlanta. They listened to Calum Scott’s “You are the Reason” as they were having their first look.
For their wedding ceremony they had their parents and dog of honor present in Piedmont Park. The ceremony was directed by the groom’s father who told a heartfelt story about the couple’s love and the bride’s patience.
Piedmont Park in Atlanta is the perfect spot for engagement sessions, and couple’s portraits! You can see the city skyline from the park even on a cloud day! We finished the day at Jackson Street Bridge in Atlanta for their bride and groom portraits!
When planning your Atlanta elopement, consider the day and timing. Weekday mornings are significantly less crowded in public areas. Genevieve was hesitant about my idea to have their elopement in the morning. At the end of the day she was SO glad she took my advice! We had the park to ourselves and traffic was manageable! We ended this magical Atlanta city elopement at Jackson Street Bridge!
